Situated between Lakeway and Bee Cave in west Austin, this upscale golf community offers gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The community is accessible from RM 2244 and is about 16 miles from downtown Austin, or a 30-minute drive with traffic.

The neighborhood began development in 2003 when the Falconhead Golf Club opened, and now offers custom homes that range in size from 2,000 to more than 5,000 square feet. Austin’s Shady Hollow Neighborhood

The Shady Hollow neighborhood in southwest Austin offers a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of activities and amenities. The area was established in the 1970s and is made up of several popular developments including Shady Hollow Estates, Shady Hollow Meadows, and Barker Ranch at Shady Hollow. Its small-town feel and location relatively close to downtown has made it a favorite neighborhood in the last years. Residents are just minutes from Interstate 35 and can be downtown within 15-20 minutes.

The neighborhood is bordered by Squirrel Hollow to the north, El Dorado Trail to the south, Doe Run and others to the east, and Lost Oasis Hollow to the west. The Ranch at Brushy Creek Neighborhood in Austin, Texas

Just north of Austin in Cedar Park, The Ranch at Brushy Creek is a master-planned community that offers luxury living while surrounded by the area’s natural beauty. The community is located 20 miles from downtown and is accessible from Parmer Lane and Brushy Creek Road. It’s about a 45-minute commute in traffic.

Prospective home buyers will find both brand-new and resale single-family homes from well known builders in the area. Prices range from the mid-$200s to $600,000, with a few more elite homes outside of that range. In 2009, the median home sale price was $329,000. Two-story homes with 3-5 bedrooms are common the neighborhood, making it a great spot for families.

Canyon Creek is a peaceful neighborhood located on the northwest side of Austin. Just five miles from Lake Travis and Lake Austin, it can also be reached in a short drive to downtown. The area is bordered by 2222 on the south, Anderson Mill Road on the north, Ranch Road 620 on the west, and the Balcones Canyonland Preserve on the east.

The neighborhood is largely filled with single family homes that range in price from mid $200,000 to the upper $400,000s and were created by some of the area’s well-known builders. The area grew rapidly in the 1990s and was completely built by 2005. Now, it boasts a peaceful, secluded atmosphere just minutes from major shopping and entertainment areas.
